How To Survive and Excel in uniSIM?

uniSIM? Never heard that?

Well.. It stands for SIM University. It is known as a university for working adults.

So, perhaps you might be saying that it must be though to study while working full time? Yes you are right. And I must say many people retake their modules. So, if you are not prepared enough, you may need to resit for your failed module.

But hey, guess what? Here, I am gonna list a couple of tips that you may want to use in order to survive this journey. So, make sure you read carefully!

uniSIM cookbook exposed:

1. Identify your potentials partners.

On your first class for each subject, look around and identify your potentials. Nah no, I am not referring to life partner potential. Just look around and try to identify those who seems smart and/or has the potential to exceed in that subject.

2. Make friends
On your subsequent class, try to approach him/her and make friends.

3. Stay back a little longer

At the end of each class, stay back a little while before you go back home, to study. Prepare some objectives that you have to accomplish before you can go back. Do this consistently and make it a habit. Trust me, you are not gonna study at home most likely.

4. Research

Whatever terms or concepts that you are still not so clear during the lecture, go and research about it. Don't depend on your study guides. Do what 80% of the students do not do. Research more till you understand the concept(s) clearly.

5. Start your TMAs early

Start your TMAs as early as possible. Ideally, after each class, do your TMA a little bit. The reason for this is that, for each class, it should cover some portion of the TMA. So, while you are still fresh, work on it! If you do 1 question every week for each subject, you won't have problem finishing it by the deadline. Oh and submit your TMA one day before the deadline!

6. Do past year papers

In regards to para 2, for each friends that you make, eventually, try to get each of them to do different past year papers in a soft copy. Then, you can share it among yourselves, OR, you can also share it at ExamAnswers. I have not gotten the time to touch on it properly by the way. So imagine this, if you make let say 3 friends, you are gonna have at least 3 past year papers done in theory, which you can use it as your study notes.

7. Study smart!

Study smart. Don't study hard. You are not gonna have the time to read everything for exams. So, by doing more past year papers, its gonna be a great help. Of course I am not asking you to depends solely on that.

8. Do your TMAs yourself

TMA, do yourself. Don't copy others. Don't do with others. When you do with other people, there is a tendency to take a look at your peers work. As such, its gonna kill your creativity. If you copy from others, you are no different than most students in gahmen Unis. You are not competent, and the degree that you are gonna get, is just a piece of paper. No value. Have some faith in yourself man!

9. Avoid study group

Study group is a bullshit. I am not saying that it is not good. It is good if every member play his role properly. If anyone asked you to join for a study group, ask them to do a past year paper first. If they cannot even finish one past year paper or at least attempt it, what makes you think that they are gonna give you their commitments in your study group? Its clearly means that most likely they will come unprepared, and don't know what to study for exams.
I can't think of anything else for now. I hope you enjoyed reading this! :D

Working Journey Year 1

Well, don't mind the title. I ran out of ideas on how to put a naming scheme on this kind of thing. But I think this would be a good naming scheme that would be easily scalable.

Back to the topic. I started working full-time since July 2013 with a local StartUp. Now, it is June 2014. It is close to 1 year indeed. I thought of writing something while I still have some free time.

It has been 1 crazy year. Prior to that, I took a month break after my National Service. Well, it was pretty difficult to rewire my brain cells at first. I guess it has been somewhat rewired to a certain extent and still getting rewired every now and then.

Nevertheless, I do not know how to express how crazy the journey was and still is. The first working language that I was required to work with was Objective-C for iOS development. I think it was like 6 months using Objective-C. I was involved in 3 apps that I don't think you can find it in AppStore because it is a custom app that are not for public/individuals use.

The next language were HTML/CSS & PHP. I was working with these for about a month. I had some basic knowledges on HTML a couple of years back then. Nevertheless, it is not difficult to start HTML/CSS from scratch and it is pretty fun. This time around however, instead of just basic knowledges, I rather call it, actual implementation. Oh and there is this cool stuff that I touched, called media query. In a nutshell, you use media query if you want to use different styles for let say different screen sizes.

PHP was and still a nightmare though. No matter how hard I try to master it, I just can't. It is too difficult to master it!! Learning it easy, but to actually implement it, it is not easy for me. I just can't do PHP!! The same goes for JavaScript! I am just not good at these 2! It drives me crazy!! But it keeps on coming to me in a way or another. I recall telling people to love things that you hate because the things that you hate will always haunt you. Well, now it seems these two languages are haunting me down and there is no way I can love them!! Hel*, I hate them!

Next was AppleScript. It is not really hard to learn but it is pretty troublesome. I kept on getting the syntax wrong. There is not much documentation or tutorial on the net. But at least, this is slightly better than PHP/JavaScript. I used this in one of my iOS project.

Moving on, I never thought that I would be creating a Facebook game one day. Oh don't get me wrong, I did not do it alone. I got the chance to do that in early May 2014 if I remember correctly. That is not so bad you know but.. the deadline was like 1 WEEK!! On top of that, I never used FLASH neither have I worked with ActionScript before. But the good thing is, I don't have to do FLASH but I've got to program the game's logics in ActionScript. Well, at least I rather do that than messing around with PHP and JacaScript! ActionScript was not as difficult as I thought either but it is pretty tricky. The naming convention of the variables and functions differs from other languages. Oh and for this project, we were building a game for Air Asia Singapore prior to Taylor Swift's concert. Well, it is over now and you can't find the game any more.

There was a buzz a couple of months or years back then about Arduino and Raspberry Pi. I've always wanted to explore these 2 things one day but then the cost was the main factor of me procrastinating it. Well,  I am not sure whether it is a coincidence or a destiny, but I was required to prototype a product for a client recently using Arduino. Oh and as usual, I've never worked with Arduino and I just started playing around with it like 2 months back then, and still playing with it right now. It is pretty fun ya know and pretty nostalgic too! Everything that I have learnt in SP started coming back to me slowly, especially the electrical components parts. Not to mention that I always fall asleep during microcontroller lectures. Haha!

At first, my company got me 2 custom Arduinos to play with which cost about $200 in total in addition to whatever electrical components that I needed. That was 2 months ago. Then now, I was given a collection of Arduinos and a couple of shields worth more than $1000 to play with!! I pretty enjoyed playing with Arduinos but..when I checked one of the board that was bought for me (Or to be exact, I wanted to play with it) which was called 'BLE Mini', I think I am having a bad dream perhaps. It was purely C and programming it is 100% more difficult than playing with Arduinos.

Just so that we are on the same channel, Arduino is not difficult. 'BLE Mini' is a nightmare!! It is like I might even become a firmware engineer if I play with 'BLE Mini' too long. Wait a second.. It is not that I am scared of being a firmware engineer, I am just afraid of programming the Mini!

To get the matter even more exciting, I started my part-time degree in January 2014. Only god knows how crazy it is to juggle between work and studies. Trust me, it is something that you cannot understand neither can you comprehend the challenges unless if you have been in the same shoe before. :)

Well, I guess that's all for today. I was writing this while waiting to download all the SDKs and tools required for Android development. Now, back to Android! :)

A Journey to be The Ultimate Programmer - Part 2

Before I start, in case you are wondering where on earth is part 1, its here.

As you can see, it was written in 2009. At that point of time, I was just writing it for the sake of writing. Well, perhaps I had "some" interests in programming. But not that much. Just looking at part 1, made me realize how pathetic I am. To date, I have not even touched Perl nor Ruby.

It was just recently that I decided to become a programmer when I applied for job in early 2013. At that point of time, I was still serving NS, and was preparing for my CCNA. Or to be exact, I had finished studying CCNA. I was about to take the exam. But then, if you know me in real life, you should know that  I am not the type who makes decision without thinking twice, thrice, and maybe more?

I was in dilemma. There were too many things in my mind, and so many things that I could not decide. One of them is to decide whether to take CCNA, or be a programmer. Well, if you ask me why, its because I don't really have interest in networking areas, neither do I have interests in programming. But I know I can perform if and only if I want to. Its just a matter of interest, and interest is something that you can develop over time with an open mind and an open heart.

After thinking for days, weeks, I decided not to take my CCNA exam. Instead I submitted online job applications first. I told myself that I will only specialize and move accordingly depending on the job that I am getting. I started applying for jobs in late December. It was 6 months before ORD.

As you guess, no one contacted me as I still have 6 more months. It was 3 months before I ORD that I managed to lend an interview with a start up company. During the interview I honestly told them that I have forgotten everything. To may surprise, they do not mind that as they understands it completely. A week later, I was offered a position with them, and I accepted the offer straight away. I signed my contract in early April. Oh and before I forget, I was their first employee. But not the first who started working.

July 1st - I walked into the office. I was totally clueless and helpless as I could not recall whatever things that I have learnt in SP. Prior to that, I only managed to learn some basic Javascript, HTML, and CSS on my own. Its just basics, really.

The next 2 days, we went out for some PlayStation seminar. It was quite a honeymoon for me I guess? Nevertheless, during lunch time, I indirectly told my boss that I wanted to be a good programmer like him, or maybe better, and I even expressed my interest to be posted overseas if there are some vacations. Laugh! I can't believe how bold I am sometimes!

On my first week, I somehow managed to recall back most of LINUX basic commands. It was quite an accomplishment to me as I think it was quite fast. On the second and third week, it was a little too fast. I was like forcing myself to learn and practice PHP & MySQL as much I can, even though it does not make some sense in the beginning. It was in the 4th week that I started to feel comfortable with PHP & MySQL, and I started to be able to understand other people scripts. Oh just to remind myself, I had no background in PHP at all previously. As for SQL, I only knew the basic SELECT all command. That's all.

Ok back to the story. As I was getting comfortable more and more with both PHP & MySQL, here come the shift. My colleague and I were asked to specialize. Both of us were like undecided as we wanted to try out everything as much as we could. To cut the story short, I was asked to start programming in using Objective-C, and that is when the nightmare started.

I looked at Objective-C, Objective-C looked at me. It was horrible. I felt like as if a mountain fell on me. The first 2 days looking and reading about Objective-C, I felt so helpless and useless. I could not understand a single explanation presented. It was like a totally different languages. At that point of time, I felt that I am so stupid. A mere 3.75 CGPA does not mean a thing any more. Now, its just between life and death.

Objective-C to me, is nothing like C/C++, JAVA, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, etc. The learning curve was so steep! I cannot even tell what simple example is doing initially. But then of course, I can't just give up. Running away does not solve a thing either. So, I was like really forcing myself to make some sense. I am glad I did.

Its been 3 weeks now, I guess I am slowly getting used to Objective-C, though there are still many things I still need to learn. Now now now now now, reading at the title, I do not know whether will I ever be an ultimate programmer? I don't know. But maybe, just maybe, I would be able to be a good programmer someday.

Doing Objective-C makes me appreciates the simplicity of C, PHP, etc. Thinking about it, make me laugh at myself back then. I don't understand why was I so afraid of C during my poly days. Its much simpler than Objective-C. I do not know, but I feel that once I master or maybe be good in Objective-C, I could do anything! Just maybe.

Well, that's about it for now. Till we meet again, dear bloggy.

Chocolate Lasagna

INGREDIENTS

1 package regular Oreo cookies (Not Double Stuff) – about 36 cookies
6 Tablespoon butter, melted
1- 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 Tablespoons cold milk
1- 12 ounce tub Cool Whip, divided
2 – 3.9 ounce packages Chocolate Instant Pudding.
3 1/4 cups cold milk
1 and 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS

1. Begin by crushing 36 Oreo cookies. I used my food processor for this, but you could also place them in a large ziplock bag and crush them with a rolling pin. When the Oreos have turned into fine crumbs, you are done.
2. Transfer the Oreo crumbs to a large bowl. Stir in 6 tablespoons melted butter and use a fork to incorporate the butter into the cookie crumbs. When the butter is distributed, transfer the mixture to a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Press the crumbs into the bottom of the pan. Place the pan in the refrigerator while you work on the additional layers.
3. Mix the cream cheese with a mixer until light and fluffy. Add in 2 Tablespoons of milk, and sugar, and mix well. Stir in 1 and 1/4 cups Cool Whip. Spread this mixture over the crust.
4. In a bowl, combine chocolate instant pudding with 3 and 1/4 cups cold milk. Whisk for several minutes until the pudding starts to thicken. Use a spatula to spread the mixture over the previous cream cheese layer. Allow the dessert to rest for about 5 minutes so that the pudding can firm up further.
5. Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the top. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips evenly over the top. Place in the freezer for 1 hour, or the refrigerator for 4 hours before serving.

Lambda Expression Only Available With -std=c++0x or -std=gnu++0x

So here is the story in short:

I was revising my C++ programming based on a book that I borrowed from a library titled, "Sams Teach Yourself C++ in One Hour a Day", written by Siddhartha Rao. The book is good. Its pact with tons of examples. But its proofreading is not so good. So, if your programming is not bad, you should be able to spot the mistakes when you read through. The downside to this book is that it does not mention the solution that we have to configure if certain examples does not work. for example, it makes quite a difference to,

#include <string> or its variant of .h</string>The extra blogger codes drives me crazy. I do not know about other books. To be honest, I never read other programming books in detail before. So, I don't know. But overall, I like the book.

Ok, I think I have drifted away. Let's get back on the track. So, today, while I am trying out the lambda function, I came across this error, "Lambda Expression Only Available With -std=c++0x or -std=gnu++0x".
I googled for quite sometime. Most of the answers are for those who are familiar with their IDE. They keep on saying add the command line to your compiler. I looked at my compiler setting, I scratched my head.

After searching and thinking for awhile. I opened up my compiler setting again for the second time. This time, I read carefully, then I saw something and I ticked it as shown below:

Binggo! That's it! It worked! Now, the codes can be compiled.

Hope that you enjoyed this post. It is not meant for those who are familiar with their IDEs. The last time I used codeblocks was in 2009. ;)

How To Keep it FIT The Lazy Way

Well, its as the title mentioned, how to keep it fit the lazy way?

Why do I say, "lazy way"?

Well, you guess?

That is because I am very very very very lazy person. Trust me. I am anti-gym by the way. If possible, I only want to practice one type of workout that enhances all the muscles. But yeah no such thing I guess.

So, here is how to keep fit the lazy way:

  • 5 Minutes London Bridge - Do a few variations of planks, 15 seconds each till you reach 5 minutes. Do it everyday!
  • Pull ups - Do pull up everyday. I don't care how many do you want to do. But at least, once a week, you have to do 10 sets of pull ups in one day. You are free to do any kind of variations. Be creative and excite all your muscles.
  • Push ups - This one you have to do concurrently with pull ups. For me, I will do 5 sets of 16-20 push ups concurrently with the last 5 sets of 8-10 pull ups. It depends on your ability too. Do as much as you can, but don't force yourself. If you can't complete it, there is always next time. Don't overdo it till you collapse or what. that is just plain stupi*.
  • RUN - This is important. RUN at least once a week. If you are fat, run for 30 minutes for each session. For me, I run at least twice a week, about 5 Km each. Its really a pain in the as*. But hey, I want my wife to look sexy and slim for only me. So, I guess, I have to do some favour for her first?
Be consistent and never give up! Love every pain and muscle aches. Trust me, I love them. Oh and I get extremely motivated to workout more whenever I watch fighting and ninja movies.

See ya!

How To Strengthen Your Weak Arm Naturally

Yeah, you heard it?

How to increase it strength to be in par with your strong arm naturally, without going to the gym and lifting weights?

Its easy. Do a one hand push up and use only your weak arm. Do not use your strong arm to do a one hand push up. Remember, your objective is to strengthen your weak arm to be as strong as your strong arm. You will have to burst your weak arm fast. If you use your strong hand in the process, well, your weak arm will need more time to catch up with your strong arm. (Currently I am at this stage)

Here is how to do it at http://www.beastskills.com/one-arm-pushup/

What's next?

Once you got use to one hand push up, do a one hand pull up using your weak arm. Good luck!

Network Classes Range

I don't normally blog but the situations forces me to. You see.. I am currently studying for my CCNA examination that I plan to take by December 2012. So yeah, while reading the free guide that I came across online, I came across this topic that talks about Network Classes and its ranges. Its pretty confusing to me.

Let me show you why it is confusing. There are seveal network classes, but I will only list the first three. It is as below:

Class First Octet Range Default Subnet Mask
A 1 - 127 255.0.0.0
B 128 - 191 255.255.0.0
C 192 - 223 255.255.255.0
Figure 1

Max No. of Hosts = (2^n) - 2.
Hence, Max No. of Hosts for:

  • A: 16, 777, 214
  • B: 65, 534
  • C: 254
But, what about Max No. of Networks for those class A, B, C?
A: 254
B: 65, 534
C: 16, 777, 214

WRONG! WRONG WRONG!

I too got the same perception initially. But when I looked at the book, it says,
Max No. of Networks for:
  • A: 127
  • B: 16, 384
  • C: 2, 097,152
How on earth did they get that value??

After thinking and thinking, scribbling, and sketching on a piece of paper, I think I found the answer. Let me explain in my own way.

Let's go back to figure 1 above, look at the octet range for class A, B, and C. How on earth did they derive it. I can't catch a ball when I first look at it. I presume that you have some understanding about logical addressing and subnet mask. I am not gonna explain on that. So in order to get the octet ranges in a way that I could understand, here is what I do:

Class Binary Octet Value Default Subnet Mask
A 0000 0001 1 255.0.0.0
0111 1111 127 255.0.0.0
B 10000 0000 128 255.255.0.0
1011 1111 191 255.255.0.0
C 1100 0000 192 255.255.255.0
1101 1111 223 255.255.255.0
Figure 2

Does this make sense to you? It does to me. Now I can understand what is written in figure 1, Octet Range.

Ok, now let's go to the second issue which is the maximum number of networks for each classes.
For class A, you can clearly see from the table that max number of network is 127. What about B and C?

*evil grin*

Here is the formula that I derived,
  • B: 2^(n-2)
  • C: 2^(n-3)
Why is it "-2" and "-3"? Good question! To be honest, I am not too sure too. I derived this formula from looking at those 3 classes. You know that broadcast is not included in the calculation right? so, it is "-1" for every class basically. I know it is not a strong explanation. I'll update this post again when I find the right answer.

This post is basically to remind myself when I forget the basics. Hope you guys enjoyed it.

Table Tennis Tournament 20/8/2012

The last time I played Table Tennis (TT) was during secondary 2 I think. However, I started to play table tennis again since last May 2012.

Back then in secondary school, I was a total noob. I always lose. I don't remember winning any games. Right now, I felt like I have improved so much compared to back then. I was one of the best in my department. There is another person same level as me let'sc call him 'E'. The winning ratio between me and E is 50:50. I wanted more exposure. So, I went ahead and I played during weekends with my cousin, friend, and even total strangers.. Until one day..

The day when I received a broadcast email regarding TT tournament. I did not want my National Service life to be just work all the time. And I never participated in any tournament before. I invited a few my friends to come along but they rejected it. Back then during my poly time, there were many things I wanted to do and be involved, but none of my friends were interested. So I did not go. But right now, I told myself that I shall not listen to others no more. Its time for me to make my own decision. Its time for me to be myself. I shall not depends on other people views and decision..

So.. I joined the tournament for fun. I did not know how far can I go. I was just joining it for fun to see where do I stand.

A few days before that, 'E' was advising me to get a new paddle as the one that I am using currently is the cheapest one which cost $10. I ignored his advise initially. 2 days before the tournament I dig out my wallet and there were $70 inside. And I was like thinking of getting a new paddle with a $50 budget. oh and 1 week before the tournament, I played with some strangers at Sengkang and hurt my wrist. my right wrist sprained and it was very painful. The following day, I was having a shooting test. If you did shoot before, you should know the recoil effect on your wrist and palm. These 2 events worsen my condition.

My wrist was injured pretty badly even till today (22/8/2012), I have not recovered yet. Ok so back to Sunday. Before I went to a sport shop, I went to a pharmacy to get a wrist support. It costed me $39! and I was like "Man.. That's it! I am not buying a new paddle." So yea, I decided not to buy. I thought even if I buy, there is no guarantee that I will even win my 1st match. Oh and the tournament was based on a knock out system. If you lose, that's it! No more games.

The night before the tournament, I was googling, "what makes a table tennis bat good". Guess what? It says that it depends on rubber resistance. The more resistance, the better. In order to measure your paddle resistance, you need to get a TT ball, hold it tight, and rub across your paddle to feel the resistance. If it rubs smoothly, forget the current paddle, and get a new one. Ok pretty easy to measure huh? So I took out my paddle and I did that and guess what?! The ball rubs across very smoothly, and my eyes at this moment rolled out. "OMG! I am dead!".. Ahh never mind, I will just play based on my skills and luck.

Let's go to the basics, in a match, in order to win, it depends on 2 things, your skills and equipment. I would say, 70% skills and 30% equipment. In this case, you can say that I only based on my skills which I think is only about 30% coz I am not so good.

So, I was having a cold sweat basically. When I stepped into the sports hall, there were lots of crowd and lots of tables. I was like, "goshhh...!" It was freaking nervous. I can assure you that. On top of that, everyone was warming up. All the tables was full. And all the audience were watching you playing. I wonder what were they saying.

And you know what is the best thing about this tournament?! I don't know whether it was just a fate or a coincidence. But my game was the 1st game in my category which was novice category. A few minutes before my match I was sitting and watching people play. Generally, the way they play is like a beginner like me. So, I was expecting someone at my level. Oh and I did not manage to warm up as all the tables are full.

So, when my turn came, I met my opponent, and he was sweating! which means he had plenty of warm. He was well built and in his 30s. And I was like, OMG.

We had about 3-5 minutes warm up game. His balls were super spinny, curly, speedy, and pretty. I had a very hard time returning his serve. I can tell that he is a pro! Much higher level than me. If I am only at Level 1, my opponent was a fusion of 2 friends of mine (whom I consider pro), 'E' and 'J' to form EJ Level 2. Let me rate his strength. I would say, 50-60% skills, 30% equipment. I only rate myself 30% skills/

The game consists of 3 rounds. Each round is 11 points. At first, I thought, total is 5 rounds, so I took my own sweet time. I had a good game with my opponent. We laughed and joked during the match. So here are the scores for each round (O / Me):
  • 1st round: 11 / 9
  • 2nd round: 8 / 11
  • 3rd round: 11 / 7
So basically, I only won 1 round which is on the 2nd round. I was so sad after the 3rd round coz I thought it was for 5 rounds. So yea, I shook his hands in the end and I wished him luck. My game lasts for about 20 minutes I think.

Anyway, this post sounds like I am making an excuse after losing. Don't get me wrong. I don't really care whether I lose or win. As a men, I do accept my defeat and I acknowledged my shortcomings.

Hope that you enjoyed reading this. :)

Programming Languages That I know

Hmm.. well.. In this post, I would like to remind myself of those languages that I know (regardless whether I am good at it or not) and those that I plan to learn on my own.

The languages that I currently know:

  1. C/C++ -  I am not really good at this. But I can perform when required. As of now, I have forgotten about it. But I will revise it again a few weeks before my degree.
  2. JAVA - Its the same as above.
  3. HTML - Its the same of above.
  4. Tcl - Tcl stands for Tool Command Language. Its a scripting language. As mentioned in wikipidea, it was created in 1988(2 years before I was born) by John Ousterhout while working at the University of California, Berkeley.  It is not a popular language among programmers. As such, it is quite rare to find someone whom knows Tcl. I learnt this on my own. It was not covered in SP. Well, I am not good at it. I only touched the surface as I was driven to learn it in order to complete my final year project. And I have to admit this. Among other languages that I have learnt so far, Tcl is a language that I enjoys learning. As of now, I am not going to touch Tcl. Maybe in future when I need it again.
  5. Javascript - Ok this one is also a scripting language. Trust me, I don't know much about this except that you can just google it when you need it to solve a problem.
Languages that I would like to learn by the end of 2012:
  1. PHP
  2. CSS
  3. Ruby On Rails (I would be happy if someone can give me this as my birthday present?LOL)

Things That I Would Like to Accomplish Before Finishing NS

Well,

There are quite a few things:

  1. I wanna construct an electric generator to power up my house air conditioner.
  2. I wanna play around with a few micro processors. And then, eventually, make my own microprocessor
  3. I want to own at least 13 profitable websites
  4. I want to have my own Lab which consist of routers, switches, terminal servers and some servers

Cheerleading Activities?

Hey you bloggy,

Its been a long time since I touched this blog. There are so many things that I wanna talk about. But in today's post, I am gonna talk about cheerleading activities.

*Please note that this post is solely my personal opinion and views.

As defined in wikipidea,

"Cheerleading is a physical activity, sometimes a competitive sport, based on organized routines, usually ranging from one to three minutes, which contain the components of tumbling, dance, jumps, cheers, andstunting to direct spectators of events to cheer on sports teams at games or to participate in competitions. "

I believe most of you know what is cheerleading. I don't think I need to go into the details. However there are a few things that I do want to touch about. I will explain more in details.

  1. I do not think that it is right for a girl to be touched by a guy (other than her husband).
  2. Its not appropriate to show your beauty to everyone.
First of all, I appologize if my words are a bit extreme/rude/inappropriate. You have been warned!. Let's go into the details:

I do not think that it is right for a girl to be touched by a guy (other than her husband).
I happened to pass by a group of cheerleaders which consists of both males and females. During their training session / performance, some of those females will be carried by those males in a variety of ways such as sitting on their neck, standing on their hands, and some SITTING on the guy HANDS!.

Now, ask yourself these questions for males:
  • Would you want your girl to be touched by those guys?
  • Would you want your  girl to be seen (lap, tummy, sexiness) by everyone other than you?
  • Would you like your  girl to entertain everyone?
  • Would you be happy to see other guys enjoys watching or touching your girl?
For females, ask yourself these questions:
  • Would you be happy to know that your guy had touched other girls, BUTT?
  • Would you be happy to know that your guy had touched many girls?

Maybe some of you might say that it is just a healthy activity/sport. Well, to me, I view it as destruction of moral values. I would not want my girl to be like that. And I believe, no good girls would like their guys like that. As such, I am against cheerleading activities.

Oh please note again that this post is solely my own opinion.

Thanks for readin.
