Design And Innovation


Hmm . . how should I start this ?

Basically , I was required to do some survey about beverage refill dispenser . I need to gather some real problems faced by the users , suggestions , and what do you Ideally like . I hope you can reply the answer to this post .

So , basically I am collecting your opinion about beverage refill dispenser that you can find it in some fast food restaurant such as SUBWAY , KFC and many more .

1. Have you ever tried to refill your drinks at restaurants such as SUBWAY or other restaurant before ?

2. What type of problem do you experience ?

3. What is good or bad about these refill dispenser ?

4. Do you ever wished to refill your drinks at any restaurant at cheaper price ?

5. What kind of refill dispenser technology in restaurant do you ideally like ?

6. Let say , someone invented a refill dispenser that you can use it by keying in your desired level of water , then the dispenser will display a price that is cheaper the previous drinks that you have purchased in the same restaurant . All you have to do is tap your ezlink cards or insert a coin to pay .
What's your opinion about the features stated above ?

    the good thing is that i can refill my drink as many times i want with only paying once..

    AT A CHEAPER PRICE?? of course YES!! who wouldnt want to??

    1. well, yes. Usually in McDs' n Sushi Kings'. lol
    2. Nope. bcoz i'm not d 1 refilling it. the waiters done it for me.
    3. auto refill dispenser? i think they waste a lot of drinks, i saw d waiters keep punching d refill buttons to make d cup full but they spill a lot coz 1 punch filled 3/4 of a cup. a lot of punch? haha
    4. well, sushi king's n McD's do not cost a single cent. btw, yes, i do want to refill my drinks for a cheaper price. free hopefully, yeay!
    5. With CENSORS!! so it can detect d cup is full or not. Less wastage~!! architects call it 'LESS IS MORE'
    6. O.......K.... But censors are way much better~!!

    Yes

    2. What type of problem do you experience ?
    Not really any, but sometimes the water gush out too fast.

    3. What is good or bad about these refill dispenser ?
    Good
    - water level determined by ourselves
    - can mix our drinks
    Bad
    - may cause over spill
    - water gush out too fast

    4. Do you ever wished to refill your drinks at any restaurant at cheaper price ?
    They're free-flow at buffets, other than that the prices are alright

    5. What kind of refill dispenser technology in restaurant do you ideally like ?
    Auto coffee/milo mix kind

    6. Let say , someone invented a refill dispenser that you can use it by keying in your desired level of water , then the dispenser will display a price that is cheaper the previous drinks that you have purchased in the same restaurant . All you have to do is tap your ezlink cards or insert a coin to pay .
    What's your opinion about the features stated above ?

    1.yes, i think it was at burger king and some other restaurants in jordan.you know,the one that when you buy it for the first time,then you get to refill it as many times as you like for free.

    2. technically, no problem at all. but, maybe i had a problem when the type of drink i want had finished. meaning that,the button to the type of drink existed but when i pushed it, nothing happened.

    3. i think it is really good. no need to wait. i can refill my drink as many times i want without someone looking at you with weird face.

    4. of course.

    5. the one that can refill my drink at my table automatically as it finished without walking anywhere,maybe?

    6. good idea.
